REVELSTOKE ROCK CLIMBING

Guided Single and Multi-Pitch Trips

Our Revelstoke climbing experience delivers adventure and quality climbs aimed at building connection with the natural world. Our climbing sessions are perfect for novice to expert climbers looking for a fun and exciting experience in Revelstoke. Small groups will tackle multi-pitch climbs or learn and experience a fun introduction to climbing session.

We showcase the Revelstoke climbing experience at our guide developed adventure tourism tenure at Echo Bay. Echo Bay is a newly discovered climbing area that we are proud to share with our guests and the climbing community.

As with any “crown” or public land, the cliffs and crags at Echo Bay and Mulvehill creek belong to all of us. We’ve taken on the responsibility of being the first climbers to make significant efforts to establish the site to share with others as part of an Adventure Tourism Tenure through the province of British Columbia.

Echo Bay is home to one of the few entirely traditionally protected (using only removable protection) multi-pitch climbs in BC’s interior  as well as some of the best bolt and mixed climbs in the Monashee range.

The cliffs at Echo Bay are host to dozens of bolted and traditional climbing routes ranging from 20-80m in length on impeccable quartzite in a quite and serene setting. Ideally situated with shady forested walls and East facing multi-pitch routes ideal for the hot summer days in Revelstoke.

All of RBG’s trips are low ratio, small group programs. Our tours offer the complete experience by including unequaled professional guiding in a variety of local terrain, freshly prepared, mostly organic lunches, ski touring specific lift access at RMR and group transportation between downtown Revelstoke and Rogers Pass.

Ability Level

Our guides happily accommodate any level of hiker, climber or alpinist and will work directly with your group to create an appropriate experience. Please be sure to tell as as much as possible about your goals so that we can dial in the experience as accurately as possible.

Timing

We are available for guided mountain experiences in the region from June – October. Below are some seasonal generalizations.

May The valley is green and 100 percent snow free, rock climbing conditions in the valley are excellent with comfortable temperatures in the Sun or Shade. Alpine conditions are transitioning, typically ski season at all elevations has ended with unreliable overnight freeze-thaw conditions.

June Warm days interspersed with multi-day periods of rain. Valley rock climbing and hiking remain excellent with Alpine climbs beginning to transition.

July-August-September Prime alpine season with snow free trails at all elevations.

October-November Our winter snowpack builds rapidly at upper elevations, with consistently rainy conditions in the valley. An excellent time for a desert escape.
