Revelstoke Backcountry Guides is committed to safety minded, high adventure experiences in the Columbia mountains. Trust, respect and awareness are the foundations of a successful experience in the mountains and we believe that connecting directly with your guide for every step of the process is key.
All of RBG’s trips are low ratio, small group programs. Our tours offer the complete experience by including unequaled professional guiding in a variety of local terrain, freshly prepared, mostly organic lunches, ski touring specific lift access at RMR and group transportation between downtown Revelstoke and Rogers Pass.
Our guides happily accommodate any level of hiker, climber or alpinist and will work directly with your group to create an appropriate experience. Please be sure to tell as as much as possible about your goals so that we can dial in the experience as accurately as possible.

May The valley is green and 100 percent snow free, rock climbing conditions in the valley are excellent with comfortable temperatures in the Sun or Shade. Alpine conditions are transitioning, typically ski season at all elevations has ended with unreliable overnight freeze-thaw conditions.
June Warm days interspersed with multi-day periods of rain. Valley rock climbing and hiking remain excellent with Alpine climbs beginning to transition.
July-August-September Prime alpine season with snow free trails at all elevations.
