Custom Trad and Multi-Pitch Skills Sessions

Our custom trad climbing workshops in Revelstoke help to refine technical systems for lead climbing and multi-pitch traditional and sport climbing. This one-day workshop is custom designed to develop your skills using modern techniques and tactics to maximize your climbing potential and be a better, safer partner.

revelstoke trad course

During our instructional workshop, we will introduce and apply technical rope systems used to safely manage multi-pitch traditional and bolt protected climbs.

Each skill and technique will be introduced and practiced in a ground school format, before applying them in applicable terrain with coaching and feedback from an IFMGA Mountain Guide at our guide developed climbing site at Echo Bay.

Our guides can happily accommodate private groups or individuals with specific curriculum goals. More advanced skills or professional level programs can be custom built on request.

June Warm days interspersed with multi-day periods of rain. Valley rock climbing and hiking remain excellent with Alpine climbs beginning to transition.

July-August-September Prime alpine season with snow free trails at all elevations.

October-November Our winter snowpack builds rapidly at upper elevations, with consistently rainy conditions in the valley. An excellent time for a desert escape.
